Marcante-Testa Atelier is a new initiative created by the eponymous studio to share, through specific educational modules, the key themes of interior architecture design. The research, which has always distinguished the studio’s work, is shared in order to provide professionals and companies with creative inspiration and tools to make them concretely achievable.

Marcante-Testa Atelier is envisioned as an idea laboratory where, in continuous dialogue with participants, the narrative path is led directly by Andrea Marcante and Adelaide Testa. Each module is designed to address methodology and practical aspects of the project, such as the use of color, material selection, the role of context, and much more, from the initial stages through to completion.

Marcante-Testa Atelier showcases the studio’s most important projects, but it also explores inspiring books, shares highly useful online resources, and delves into often tragicomic “behind-the-scenes” moments of the client relationship, an integral part of the success of any project.

The aim is to share ideas: where they come from, how they transform into the project, and where they can lead to ensure the outcome remains current, original, and sustainable.

The goal is to share intentions so that interior architecture is recognized for its fundamental value in our society, both culturally and socially, as well as politically. The hope is that, in the future, even spaces that are often neglected, such as prisons, hospitals, and schools, will have interior designs that restore dignity to these places.

Marcante-Testa Atelier is aimed at interior design enthusiasts and takes place through live streaming and in-person sessions. It also offers specific consultancy courses for companies.
