“ROOM KINNASAND”

An Interior where fabric is interpreted from an architectural viewpoint as both an element that separates spaces to create an experience from its sensory qualities, and as a light diffuser to emphasise the transparency that characterises it. An environment packed with stimuli for unusual uses of textile material: a Nordic project in its clarity of purpose but full of references to the masters of 20th century Italian architecture. From Carlo Mollino – in the use of curtains separating the spaces and as a support for pictures and objects – to brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the tribute to their Teli lamp. Through to Gio Ponti and his equipped windows, in this case opening to textile landscapes.

→ Established in Kinna, in southern Sweden, it produces contemporary upholstery fabrics whose designes are of clear Nordic inspiration. It boasts over 200 years of experience in the production of exclusive, high-quality fabrics and carpets, combining ongoing research into materials with the use of the most modern technologies.
